Dr. Diego A. Pizzagalli
The Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Diego A. Pizzagalli, Ph.D., as founding director of the Noel Drury, M.D. Institute for Translational Depression Discoveries. He will join UCI in January 2025 as a faculty member in the departments of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Neurobiology and Behavior, and Biomedical Engineering. LEARN MORE |

NBB Reimbursement Checklists
On Nov 3rd we had our first annual Department Procurement meeting. Breanna Klett, Patrick Ko, and Sarosh Siganporia from Central Procurement graciously came to give us an overview on how to procure, the paperwork needed for larger purchases, and why they need that paperwork.
We also went over the paperwork for reimbursements and where you can find that paperwork (links below).
This meeting sparked more discussion about UCIBuy and PALCards. Due to this interest, we are working on scheduling meetings after the holidays to address these subjects with the people who handle UCIBuy and PALCard in Central Procurement. Stay tuned!

Unlike other programs on campus, NeuroBlitz remains organized and coordinated by the graduate students, allowing for the control of their own professional development. Ultimately, NeuroBlitz serves as an opportunity to develop one’s communication skills with the support of all members within the NBB department. For those that were not paid last quarter in UCPath, the system automatically disenrolls your information from direct deposit. Please be advised to log into UCPath to confirm that your Direct Deposit is currently active. If not active, please go ahead and re-enroll as needed.
