In this session we will explore the transformative power of psychological flexibility—a key skill for navigating life's challenges and fostering resilience. Through engaging exercises and experiential activities, participants will learn practical tools to enhance adaptability, manage stress, and build a foundation for greater emotional well-being to thrive in the face of life's uncertainties.

NeuroBlitz has been a tradition in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior since 2006. Typically, this seminar series meets 2x per month during the academic school year, featuring 3 graduate student speakers. Unlike other programs on campus, NeuroBlitz remains organized and coordinated by the graduate students, allowing for the control of their own professional development. Ultimately, NeuroBlitz serves as an opportunity to develop one’s communication skills with the support of all members within the NBB department. DECADE Updates

The DECADE team have been putting together some events for winter and spring and we hope you will join!

1. We are hosting a CV and Resume Writing Workshop on Thursday March 7th at 3pm in the Herklotz Conference Room. It will be led by Maks Giljen, the Graduate Student Peer Career Educator from GradDiv's Division of Career Pathways. RSVP here.

2. Save the date for a St. Patrick's Day Social on Friday March 15th at 4:30pm! More information coming soon.

3. We are trying to put together a panel of recent grads from NBB who now work in industry so that they can share their career paths with you. But we need to know who you might want to hear from. Please let us know if you have any suggestions of who you want to hear from about their career paths, and we will work on arranging a panel.

4. We are looking for more people to help put together events! Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a DECADE rep!
