Center for the Neurobiology of Learning & Memory (CNLM)
The mission of the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory at the University of California, Irvine is to increase understanding of how we acquire, retain and retrieve memories. Using a wide variety of experimental techniques, our scientists investigate memory at multiple levels of analysis.
Center for Neural Circuit Mapping (CNCM)
The Center focuses on neural circuit studies and new viral-genetic technology development. The main aim of the Center is to advance the study of neural circuits to define mechanisms and pathways that underlie neurodevelopmental, neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. Understanding the brain’s neural circuitry is critical for successful translational progress in better treating these diseases. Given the increasingly inter-disciplinary nature of neural circuit analysis, this Center will emphasize collaborative inclusion of Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Computer Science faculty on Campus.
Center for Hearing Research
The Center for Hearing Research at UC Irvine is a multidisciplinary group of scientists spanning eight Departments in five Schools, who are bound by a common interest in hearing research.

Reeve-Irvine Research Center
The RIRC is a basic science research facility devoted to the study of repair, regeneration, and recovery of function after spinal cord injury. The mission of the RIRC is to find new treatments for spinal cord injury through the collaborative research and educational efforts of prominent scientists and clinicians both at the University of California, Irvine and around the world.

The Sue & Bill Gross Hall Stem Cell Research Center train researchers through a number of techniques Courses put on each year; provide state-of-the-art tissue culture facilities for campus researchers interested in doing stem cell research; test new technologies and products and bring them to our researchers to enhance their work methodologies and more.
The Irvine Center for Addiction Neuroscience (ICAN)
The UC Irvine Center for Addiction Neuroscience (ICAN) is committed to understanding the neurobiology of drug abuse and addiction. The faculty have expertise in basic and clinical research within the areas of alcohol, nicotine, stimulant, opioid, and prescription medication drug abuse. The center provides an environment in which faculty come together to address major research questions, enhance the education and training of students and postdoctoral trainees, and engage the community through public awareness and outreach programs.
