Professor R. Michael Mulligan Reappointed as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies

Professor R. Michael Mulligan, in the department of Developmental and Cell Biology, has been reappointed as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies for an additional five-year term at the Biological Sciences School.

Among his many accomplishments, Professor Mulligan has strategically allocated resources to promote recruitment, funding and academic quality; supplemented graduate students that receive fellowships; developed workshops to foster student professional development; and communicated and enforced normative time to advancement and degree completion.

Professor Mulligan works tirelessly to ensure that our graduate program is appropriately funded, that the graduate students are paid fairly and that the Biological Sciences School’s high standards are being maintained. The Biological Sciences School recognizes that we are fortunate to work with a leader with such great collegiality and administrative experience as demonstrated by Professor Mulligan.
